BAG (COMB CASE)
Netherlands, middle of the 17th century
Copenhagen, Rosenborg Castle 68 x 66 cm Pink satin, richley
embroidered with cartouches in slight relief, with a variety
of gold and silvfer threads, strips, wire and cords, in
couched work. Sequins and small gold sand silver balls.
Birds embroidered on white satin with chenille thread in
naturlaistic colours; long and short and stem stitch. Recorded
in the Wardrobe Inventory of Rosenborg in 1718
